Undergrad Business or Econ?

Hi, I am interested in pursuing an MBA but am unsure of the exact field I want to study. Given that, would it be best for me to study Economics or something along the lines of Finance, Accounting, etc.? Do grad schools show preference? Would I be at a disadvantage if I did not take Finance, for example, at the undergrad level if I chose that as my desired field in grad school?

Any help would be greatly appreciated Thank You!

MBA programs look at your GPA (just that it doesn't suck, not necessarily that it is amazing), your GMAT score and your work experience. The main advantage to choosing one school or major over another is that it gives you better opportunities for work experience. That said, when universities offer both a business and economics program, the business program is usually harder to get into and is favored by recruiters and the economics program is mostly students trying to transfer into the business school, so I would only aim for economics if my university didn't offer a business program. Also, I wouldn't want to go into too much debt in undergrad if it is avoidable.
