Post-undergrad jobs for people NOT interested in finance?

We know many candidates at top MBA programs like Harvard and Stanford have a finance background and come from JPM, or Goldman sachs analyst programs. However, let's say I was interested in the entertainment industry. What kind of job experience would be ideal? Entry-level entertainment industry jobs are mostly assistant positions, talent agency mailroom type gigs...would a top MBA program would be impressed by those kinds of jobs?
