Some meaningful work experience would be helpful -- scratch that -- almost mandatory for an elite MBA program.

Also, try the "search" function -- this question has been asked and answered multiple times -- think of it as your first "clue".

You will probably need 3 or 4 recommendations from professors or work supervisors, as well as top grades to get into an MBA program. Have you considered getting your MBA online? Because it can be easier, especially for someone who lives internationally. There are a lot of top colleges who offer their MBA programs online and are affordable. That way you can get the work experience you need to get a good job after you graduate, while pursuing your degree. Check out elearnportal.com for top online MBA programs...you can also search by state if you have a specific location in mind.

For a top MBA program you will submit your college grades and GMAT score. They will want you to have 3-5 years of post college work experience in a job where you have considerable responsibility and they want to see growth in that job and you hopefully managing people and budgets. Grades and scores are important, but the job and your success in it is probably the most important factor.
