Is Having a Degree from an Undergrad B-School a Disadvantage?

Is it a disadvantage for MBA admissions to have an undergrad business degree? I am a bit interested in the Harvard 2+2 program, but according to their site only 6% of the admitted students majored in business.

It's not a disadvantage for MBA admissions in general since work experience after graduation will carry a lot of weight. However, it is a disadvantage for the HBS 2+2 program in specific. The website states that applicants with non-business background are preferred.

That was originally the preference, but now the website says:

Quote:
My undergraduate concentration is in a business-related field, and I have had a lot of business exposure. Is 2+2 the right program for me?

When the 2+2 Program was originally created it primarily targeted students who are not already on a business track (i.e. students studying the liberal arts, sciences, engineering, etc.). However, we are now encouraging students from all undergraduate majors to apply (that includes those with concentrations and experiences in business-related fields).

Oh, I didn't realize they changed it. Thanks for the clarification!
Unfortunately this reduces my chances of getting accepted, but well...
