| Who is applying to Butler this fall?
Well, class of '08, it's that time of year for us. Time for us to send out our plethera of apps to a myriad of universities all to simply choose one. My question is this, who here has Butler on their list?
List: username, gender, intended major, home state, is this your first choice school? (yes, no)
This way we may all get to know eachoter a bit better if we would see eachother next year!
(Okay, so really I'm just bored and interested to see how many people on here are thinking of Butler, okay?)
:P

Seems like a nice school, I would have to see what kind of scholarship they offer to really consider going there.

I'm hoping to visit soon myself, to decide how I would rank it. It interests me so far, lol.
What other schools are you looking at?

toledo, male, physician assistant, ohio
I'm also looking at Indiana, Miami of Ohio, Marquette, Ohio University, SMU, and Ohio State. Butler is the smallest and I'm not sure I want a small school. Nice campus and good PA program though.

My son decided he definitely wants a PA program so seems to be considering smaller schools after all. He did apply to Butler. Anyone else?

I just spoke with a young lady who has already graduated from college. She is pursuing PA programs for grads and said that had she known about the profession earlier, she would have gone to Butler based on the strength of the program.

It doesn't seem like many people even know about physician assistants.

My son just received his Admissions offer yesterday. It's his first one and he definitely wants to visit. Can somebody tell me what is involved in the True Blue visit?

We're out of town for the holidays so have to wait for our decision (should have 2 decisions in our mailbox.) I don't know about the True Blue visit, but have done the regular visit. I thought the campus was very nice. We also asked to meet with someone in my son's intended major, which they agreed to do. Two small things stood out (in a good way) in my mind; introducing us to a handicapped man that works in the cafeteria and bringing out the school mascot to greet everyone.

Thanks, toledo. I actually did a visit with my daughter a few years ago and really liked the school. My son applied based on our recommendation and talking to the Admissions rep on her visit to his high school. I'm really looking forward to seeing his reaction to the visit.

My son was accepted, too. He's also in at Gannon Univ. and Seton Hall, who both have PA programs. We didn't get anything about a True Blue Visit. I had assumed that was an accepted student visit, but maybe not?!! What major is your son considering?

My son is undeclared. He's waiting to hear from a few other schools, although he's very interested in Butler. The True Blue visit is listed as an option on the website. I'm just curious about it.
