Choice

Well, I have Been accepted to both San Jose and Pomona for Electrical Engineering
I was just wondering how the two programs compare??
They are ranked at the same level, but Pomona is known more for engineering, correct if im wrong.
lastly which would you choose?

P.S. do san jose have as much smog as pomona does??

i've worked with both campuses and i'd pick san jose.
it's the oldest of the cal states, been around for 150 years.
it's a larger, far more cosmopolitan campus with big time sports and entertainment within walking distance of downtown san jose.

pomona has a slightly better engineering program but that's about it. the one issue might be if you want to work in the field in so cal, then pomona gives you an edge. check out www.**************.com and you can compare the two universities directly.
