How good is Cal PolyPomona?

What is the 2nd best major after Architect?
How its campus compared to UCLA and USC?
How many students overall in Fall 2008?
How many ppl will live on campus by that time?
How good is the University Library?
How it compared to Cal Poly SLO?

I would think 2nd best major after Architecture, is probably Collins School of Hospitality.. then probably following my engineering.
As far as the campus, the buildings are more of 70's era structures and not like any traditional colleges you seen on TV. But the campus does sit near hillside and does offer some good views. It is a bigger campus but not as compact as UCLA and USC. Being a State School and funding issues, there are not much events that goes on at campus.. but I'm sure you find things to do if you just get off the couch and look. I know they are building more housing since there has been a demand but still, the amount of people living on campus is not as comparable to most other southern cal school i.e UCLA/USC.

1. Collins School
2. Does not even compare
3. Around 20,000
4. about 8 %, Its a commuter school
5. Just finished an upgrade with Starbucks and a 24 hr computer lab.
6. SLO has a better area and an actual college town. As far as academics, from my experience SLO is better

If your doing arch or Collins School then go to Pomona, but other wise go to SLO or another school. I went to Pomona for two years and its a commuter school so 91% of the students live off campus. This means no social scene AT ALL! Might as well go to a community college. The area is in the middle of nowhere and no actual college town whatsoever. Save your money and time.
