Eligible for Consid Tier 2

i checked my pomona app. status...
it says 'Eligible for Consid Tier 2'
what is that mean??????????????????
and they asked me to send my final high school transcript by July, 2009.

Tier 2 means you live outside the service area for Cal Poly Pomona. Applicants within the immediate area (around Pomona) get first priority. Tier 2 applicants get in after the 1st group gets the nod. If you are from CA you would get first priority to the closest Cal State to your home, be that Fresno, Chico, Long Beach etc...

For more on this see the San Diego State threads...you will see applicants within the San Diego area get in with lower GPA's than applicants outside the area (the tier 2 candidates...which need to have close to 4.0's to get in).
