healthy living, comms and english aren't too bad if you can get good teachers (but I'm definitely a writing person so that may be why), race culture and gender in the US, intro to art, intro to theatre, I didn't think geography was horrible

Cultural anthro with Rucas wasn't bad. Her tests are kind of hard, but she curves generously. Coms is easy, econ 201 was easy, but I hated going to class...

My daughter is taking Comms next quarter, as well as Sociology. Some of these GEs she needs for Pre-reqs for the grad program she plans to apply to, so it's killing two birds with one stone. She's doing the Econ class now. She hopes to take a Psych class and some more PE classes in the Spring. Good luck to you!

Heavy load of sciences? You do know that engineering students read this board, right?

I'd call all GEs that are not support "easy". They might be a lot of work, but they are nearly survey classes. You aren't expected to know that much about the field. It's not really class difficulty you should be worried about, but class workload. Most C area GEs require significant writing. All GE area A classes require significant writing. For me, writing = workload.

I'd say, the easiest GE I've ever taken was Macroeconomics, which I think was Econ 221. It helps that I enjoyed the subject greatly. If you have every played a musical instrument or know anything about notation, MU 101 very easy, but there is some homework. Yes, there was Healthy Living, a Multicultural Approach... But... really? Take that at a JC or online and save yourself time and money. I was so disappointed in that class. GEOG 150 has almost no out-of-class workload and is a fun little survey class. But... I still can't help but wonder who wants easier GEs. I'm spending a lot of money on my university education, I want to be forced to work hard and learn things.

Speaking of which, CPE 430 is calling me...
