SATs-Sum of best three scores or Single sitting?

Hi there..

I was curious if anyone knew if Cal Poly SLO takes the sum of the best three score (CR, W, M) , or do they take the best score from a single sitting?

My First Try:
CR 630
M 560
W 720
Total: 1930

Second Try:
CR 720
M 600
W 630
Total: 1950

So, would they accept the 1950 or 2040 (Sum of 1st W, 2nd CR, and 2nd M)?

Also, do my scores look pretty competitive or do they need major improvement??

Thank you SO much!!

I believe (and someone can correct me if I am wrong) that they only take the scores from one sitting. I know for a fact though that they DO NOT count the writing section on the SAT (which I am glad because it was my weakest subject)

cal poly only looks at reading and math(the old SATs) and doesnt superscore.
so it looks you got a 1320 on you second try, which is pretty good.
whats your GPA and intended major?

tmc, no promises in this crazy college climate, but i think your good.
i got in business administration at CP along with san diego, davis, and santa barbara, and my SAT scores were a bit higher, but your GPA is a point higher.

in summary your good at CP, which is where im going!

cal poly looks at only the math and critical reading section, but i thought they superscored. that's what i was told.

but in your case, it doesn't really matter because you did better in both on the second try.
