Cal Poly's Architectural engineering program

What exactly is architectural engineering? I think cal poly is one of the few schools that offer this, most schools that Ive looked at offer simply either architecture or civil enginnering.

Arch E. is basically applying engineering principles to building design and construction. I'm not an engineering major so I don't know much about it, but I think if you like math, you may like Arch E. better than just plain Arch.
