ACT and AP exam scores

I recently applied ED for cal poly but i only sent in my SAT (1230, reading+math) and not my act (26) because I was worried my ACT would look bad on my application=/. was that a bad idea? I know they prefer the ACT but I didn't see the point in sending it when my SAT is better. Should I send my act, and if I should, how do I change that part of my application if I already sent it?

Also, I wasn't sure if we are supposed to send in our AP scores with our application.

I'd greatly appreciate it if someone could offer some advice=) Thanks.

I wouldn't advise my child to send in ACT if she is in your situation since your SAT is much better. CalPoly's common data set 2007-2008 shows 96.2% submit SAT while only 49.6% submit ACT, so you should be fine w/o sending ACT.

You don't need to send in AP scores at this time. Wait til you get the admission and only send the AP scores to the campus you intend to enroll.
