Lol, Misboo. You are ridiculously in. I say this because your stats are insane and because if you're not in, I have absolutely no chance of getting in. |

pioneer: yay, you're doing engineering too! gotta love Cal Poly Eng..
I'm only applying to Cal Poly. I did my research and decided it was the best place to do my Arch E degree, I got weird looks but I'm so thrilled about my choice!
You're quite well qualified too |

I applied around the 15th or so.
Graphic Communications
SAT: 1220 (1900 Composite)
GPA: 3.50 UC/CSU
I've had a somewhat light amount of Honors/AP. Everything else college prep, of course.
-English 1H (Screwed up second semester of that, though. Made it up)
-Bio Lab H (A)
-English 3AP (A, 4 on test)
-Stats AP (C, 2 on test...technically passing class grade, but bleh.)
-English 4AP Planned
-1-5 Hours work, toward field of study. (I'm an amateur photographer)
-Marching Band; main extracurricular, was able to put that down under performing arts, so they fortunately can see it. Drumline section leader.
-Newspaper; kind of snuck it in under Non A-G Courses. I'm editor of photojournalism.
Aside from that, I'm an AVID kid (yeah, one of those kids...), so I got to put down AVID 4 under G Electives.

I'm first unweighted. My schedule got screwed up last year, so I ended up taking 2 semesters less of weighted courses than I had planned to take, so in comparison to my closely-ranked peers I have less. I believe I'm fifth weighted.

also, just looking at one of your previous posts..
i think it may affect the majors individually.
and i don't think the CSU's will really raise their fees too tremendously much, not anywhere close to the UC's projected 30%. besides, hopefully our economy won't be in such a sinkhole by next year.

Calinate, we're very similar. Both applying to business school. Except your gpa is a tad higher, and my sat is at tad higher. i say we both have a really good chance.
so, once, (if we do) get accepted. the only requirement for our senior year to get admission is to pass every class you signed up for with a C or better right?? just to make sure. not that im gonna slack or anything. |

Pretty much, yeah. Getting accepted would be about the best motivation to not slack off the rest of the year. =)
