Unsure about what college to choose

Hi, im a norwegian girl, who really wants to study in the US. I am only 15 now, but I like to plan my life as long forward as possible. I am now starting highschool, where im gonna study one year of "generall studies" and then im going to study at IB for two years, to be fit for studies abroad. I want to become a journalist, thats my really big dream. I want to work for travel channel or something like that, because I really like to travel as well. After years of expirience, I would also love to write a book. With this said, im wondering what the best college for me would be after highschool ? Im open for everything, everywhere. Also outside USA. Looking forward to your answers, and who knows, maybe one day we'll meet at the same college!

Here's something I found from a quick Google search:

Top 10 Colleges for Journalism in California | eHow.com

These are all good schools, but since you would be an international student, I would recommend the private schools listed, over the public schools. There would likely be more opportunities for financial aid, assuming you make good grades while you are in high school.
