Yeah....basis would be nice...otherwise it would be completely arbitrary and opinion based, like the following:

1) Mudd (Because I go there, and its awesome in so many ways)
2) Pomona (Because it has the Oldenborg language center and awesome dance stuff)
3) Scripps (Because I have friends there)
4) Pitzer (Because I wanted to be a hippie once, and their classes are easy)
5) CMC (Because almost everyone I've met from this college is a jerk)

Um, for what?
If you're going into math or science or engineering, I'd be ranking Mudd first. But as much as I'm in love with the school I wouldn't be going there for most anything else, and not for premed either. Scripps is all female, so it's separated from the rest in that sense. You've got to give details on the context of the ranking.
