Favorite Liberal Arts/Business Colleges in CA

My daughter is a rising junior, and we are just starting the college search. She will likely have a 3.0 to 3.3 avg when it comes time to apply with waterpolo as her main EC and good to very good SATs.

Can anyone suggest some private schools for her in CA? We live in Orange County, and she doesn't want to be within an hour of home. She would prefer a school that is within 30 - 40 minutes of a major city. She is currently most interested in schools in the 2K - 15K undergrad range, and is not opposed to a Christian school. We are conservative, but I think she could hold her own in any environment. She does have ADHD, but will not likely need additional services (just hard work!)

Thank you for any ideas! Right now, we are just starting to look at University of San Franciso, Loyola Marymount (low reach) Pepperdine (reach) and Santa Clara University.

Ideas???

Definitely consider USD. Fantastic for business, see my other post. What about Occidental? or Azusa Pacific? I think Santa Clara is even harder to get into than LMU.... Have you looked at Dominican U in San Rafael? It is really a beautiful place, great liberal arts, but I don't know about business.

It's not private, but Sonoma State fits some of your D's criteria.

Definitely consider Saint Mary's College of California in Moraga. Wonderful LAC with top notch business programs on a beautiful campus. PM me if you have questions.

I second LMU as well; Fabulous business, great access to LA, and another beautiful campus!

SCU is more difficult to get into than LMU and SMC
