CSU apps ask that both grades and SAT scores are self-reported; however, they then ask for the SAT scores to be sent, so you need to request that through CollegeBoard. The official high school transcript needs to be sent after you graduate and needs to match what you self-reported or any acceptance can be rescinded.
CSU apps are easy. The hardest part was the calculation of the UC/CSU GPA which can be tricky with the treatment of Honors/APs and pulling out 9th year grades and PE/Health, etc. In my son's case, he thought English II Honors in sophomore year would count as Honors points in the GPA, but it turned out that by looking at the UC Doorways list of approved Honors courses for his high school, it did not.
The SAT scores should be sent to CSU Mentor so that all CSU's can see your scores. I recommend doing this quickly, since when we requested it on Oct 2nd, they were sent on the 9th; but a recent request made to have scores sent to a private school on 10/26 is still pending.
