mid year report

Do the admitted students also need to send their mid-year report?

Adding on to your question - is Feb 1 really a drop-dead deadline if you're already admitted? My son just had finals last week and no way grades/transcripts will be ready by then. He can do the online Naviance "request a transcript" sent, but it'll be the exact same thing that was sent in Sept at this point. I was going to call tomorrow and ask but wondered if anyone knows.

Yes, admitted students still submit the mid-year report. Caltech doesn't want slackers and can rescind an admissions decision.

If your school won't have grades done by Feb 1, I'm sure the admissions people will understand. It might be worth having him give them a call and letting them know it'll be a week or two late due to their schedule (I know my HS was the same way).
