| I am a former YESS participant and it was a great experience. It's a good way to network with great professors and grad students and even if you don't end up applying it's a wonderful way to get recommendations.
And YESS accepts applications from all races, one of my good friends while I was there was Chinese |

| Thanks masamune. I wouldn't even have known about Yess if it wasn't for this board. When I learned about it there were only 5 days left to apply. I really had to rush to get transcripts, teacher recs and write the essay. |
