| urgh, i tried not to post too, but it's getting hard heheh  ) this way, i know i'm not alone in all the pains and joys of the waiting list 
last 2 years they called people on 4th and 5th of may.. though, 1st to 5th were working days, so i wonder have they been checking out the waitlist this saturday and sunday or they don't work on those days heheh
oh well we've waited for 4 months, what's couple of days more..?
if anyone hears anything, please post  |

Hriundeli, well I'm hoping they'll be good to me too ) It would be shame to get this far, and then lose it because of the FA
Heerad, I really don't have a clue, they didn't say anything, they just asked me if I'm interested, I said yes, and they said that I'm admitted
Hahahah zoogies, I think I have checked that group so much these days, that I really don't want to do it for another day in my life.. But feck, I'll guess I'll have too.. :PPP
Brahmin, I got an email yesterday round 2pm, CA time.. The fact that you haven't received anything yet doesn't mean you're rejected, they do this things in couple of rounds.. Admit couple of people today, couple of people tomorrow etc.. Then they wait and see if those admitted from waitlist will enroll, if they don't enroll, they call next group... MAybe you should send them a polite email, asking what's happening, just to show you're interested and maybe they'll tell you more
And yep, I am an intl student, and we shall see how fortunate/unfortunate I was with FA | |

| Hmmmm. I don't know if I shoudl contact them again. Since being waitlisted I've called them once and e-mailed them three times, so e-mailing evne once more just to check to see what's happening might be a little too much. Maybe I'll wait for the weekend to be over and see if anyone else gets admitted....
Argh im getting so nervous...

This article made me happy. I guess elite schools can be expected to go to their waitlists for at least one more round because of the "first round" of the waitlist shifting acceptees around. Perhaps there is still some hope? *Crosses fingers*

| Ya this is weird, i thought after the first letter, the rest should come out like dominoes, haha...and Caltech will have to get over with their 'first round' to find out who are all rejecting the offer.
Hmm...let's just keep waiting
Seems like foo just missed a place during regular decisions and got in once spots opened up...good luck to everyone else...

mwahahahahah! :P nope, i'm sure they've got more people off the list, but they probably aren't on forum, or dunno.. or maybe they've just got a little under projected yield this year, because of that harvard thingie.. god, can't believe that one college can screw up admissions so much heheh
