Chances for an Out of Stater

For the longest time it's been my dream to live in CA, despite my rather annoying family members telling me about how much the states going to fail... I applied in early Oct. for the fall of 2012 term, and am currently a H.S Senior living in Appleton Wisconsin.

Here are my "credentials":

GPA: 3.81/4.0
ACT: 26/36 (Math dragged me down...)
AP courses taken: 2, A's and A-'s in both (mostly A's); They were: World History and Psychology.
Advanced/honors courses taken: 4 (Apparently my Theatre class is "advanced"?); They were/are: Math, English x 2 and Theatre (?)
Currently enrolled at my schools new charter school based on project learning; which means I have gained real world experiences in business and design. 2nd year here now.
Achieved 5 awards (3 silver and 2 gold) for academic excellence in my time at H.S, and am expecting 2 more (silver).
Earned four credits at a local Tech. college for small engines. (Little random)

Extracurriculars:
Co-founder and Head of Marketing for the schools robotics Club, ThetaX Robotics (2 years now)
DECA (International marketing students) Member
Student Coordinator of the Special Friends program, created to help under-privileged/troubled youths in elementary schools.
Drama club member (a few plays under my belt)
Worked 2 jobs in my H.S careers, and am currently employed at a 3rd (each one over 3 months, currents at 6 months)

Volunteer:
Bell ringing during the winter holidays (2 years now)
Soup kitchen working (1 year, going on 2 this year)
Spent a summer aiding a nursing home

Ok. That's officially it! So, tell me what you think?

P.S: Also, submitted letters of Recommendation, forgot they weren't required... oops!

in the cal state system, extra curriculars and awards and everything not academic grades aren't looked at sadly.

pretty much it comes down to hardcore testing scores and grades in school.

but for an out of state it is pretty rough. i think you have as good a chance as any though, with that 3.8/4.0 gpa

All you guys can do now is unfortunately wait for a couple months. You guys can always take the ACT/SAT one more time, but if you feel like you peaked with your current scores, taking it again will probably be a waste of time. Good luck!
