I had a friend who applied last year, and the letters from LB don't come until later. Man, I really wish I would have applied to LB

Folks, if you are planning to go to Long Beach State, apply for housing priority NOW. Housing is limited and you can sign up for a priority assignment before you receive your acceptance. Go onto the residence life section of the website.
My recollection is acceptances came out last year in mid February.

I've been calling everyday since February 1st and I got the "Congratulations, you have been offered provisional admission to the univerity" message today. ^^

I'm in! Now I have to go down and check it out. Hye I know it has a good rep socially, but they've had some bad rap recently over some on campus "incidents".

I recall there was a problem with sexual assaults a month or two ago. Haven't heard anything recently. All CA state colleges have crime reports updated weekly. Here's the one for Long Beach: http://activitylog.upd.csulb.edu/
