My High School gpa is 3.29 and I scored 18 on my ACT. I hope I get accepted no news yet, I was accepted at SFSU,NSUN and Chico. My first choice is CSULB. Has anyone heard from CSULB yet.

I just called their hotline thing (562) 985-2500 and I got in.  I don't wanna go there, but that means out of the 3 colleges I applied to I got in to all 3! w00t.

i got accepted with a 3.24 and a 1660 on the SATs.. i got accepted on like the 4th of feb.. and i didnt get in to sdsu though my topppp choice. so bummed.

i got accepted into an impacted major @long beach
with a 3.8 & 19 ACT score
but denied to SDSU too

maybe i will. i'm just looking mainly @ long beach and northridge because there in LA.
i applied under a film major, but i also heard its tough to get into san diego. but i'm waiting on 3 private schools too. sdsu isn't one of my prioritie schools so i wasnt too bummed about not getting in my admission status changed friday on 2-22-08

Did you get in to LB? Yoru major shouldn't matter for the CSU's you should be treated the same applying for Film as if you had applied undeclared.

^Actually that's not true.
At CSULB, there are several impacted majors, as there are at many of the CSUs.

You are correct that there are several impacted majors at CSULB, however for Freshman admissions, which _Riley was speaking of, the major applied to does not affect the admission decision.

I am currently at to El Camino College, and I applied to Long Beach. My GPA was a 3.0 on the application, i was wondering if i have a chance of getting in.

Everyone i know that applied has been rejected from CSULB, but i got a letter about sending them 1st semesters grades and fillin out a form. I'm too lazy to fill out the form lol.
