Bob Cole Conservatory of Music

I have heard that CSULB has started a new Music program called the "The Bob Cole Conservatory of Music". Has anyone heard anything about it? Does anyone have any suggestions about Music programs at schools that don't cost an arm and a leg?

Cole Conservatory of Music at CSULB

The Bob Cole Conservatory of Music has just been designated at CSULB. This is a top notch school for music education, and it is one of the least expensive programs in the nation, while also being one of the best. It is a public university, so the fees are significantly less for residents of the state of California than for those from out of the state.

Auditions are required for admittance to the Conservatory, while students must also gain admission to the university, so the application process is two-fold. More information is available at Bob Cole Conservatory of Music | California State University, Long Beach

i don't...
erica,

i'm looking into this school for graduate studies for opera performance, it is by far one of the best music state schools in CA...i would take a look at the link given to you and read up on some of its benefits...and for the fact that graduating from a conservatory in music looks much better on a resume than just a regular music dept... and i don't know of many other state universities that actually have a conservatory of music in them...other than SF... This is a top notch school for music...

You may want to ask this question over in the music majors section of the board - http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/music-major/

There are a lot of people over there with pretty detailed knowledge.
