| Waiting for CSU long beach acceptance notification
When do they start notifying people? Who got accepted already?

go to the portal for Long Beach and check your admissions status online. Many people have already heard and it seems that most of the Cal States are just about done making their notifications.

And you can't use the portal on long beach's website because you have to be accepted first to use it. I think the only way to check, besides waiting for the letter, is to call that robot number. Should I just talk to a real person?

Yeah..I receive my rejection letter like a month ago..they should have sent all letters by now..

that is so wierd, i havent recieved an acceptance letter yet and i cant go on the portal, should i keep waiting or call them? are we the only ones julia? haha

Haha, man, I don't even know. I'm getting so impatient though, because this is my first choice. I checked my eligibility and according to that chart, I'm supposedly overqualified or something like that. My GPA is 3.73 and my SAT scores, including the written is about 1440 (really low...). But since my GPA is high, I thought it would be okay.
ALSO, i'm taking like a bunch of college courses, so by the end of this year, i'm going to have about 26 units total, and I included that in my application. ahhhh.

idk julia, my stats are pretty similar to yours, but lower gpa. csulb is my third choice, n' i got rejected from my second choice(sdsu) already . my first is ucsb n' my chances are really slim, so i have to get in!
GPA: 3.5
SAT 1500
ACT 22

I got accepted already (like last month I found out, and last Friday I got a letter in the mail with the whole packet and bumper sticker, etc.). But one of my friends still hasn't heard anything yet so they're probably still sending them out. Best of luck though! : ]
