MD or JD or MBA? Which is more rewarding?

I was wondering which of the above degree is more rewarding in life.... Please drop your opinion here. I am a prospective medical student, but I am interested to know more about life after MBA...

I mean to ask :
Which in general gives more bucks, more satisfaction, more highs in career, and peace of mind?
I have asked this question just to widen the horizons of my mind, as well as to make more people aware of all these profession's PROS and CONS...

Medicine probably more satisfaction, but thats a toss up. More highs in carrer once again it depends. More money, law of course, if you get a good job not a crummy one.

What about MBA? Being an investment banker is also a good deal... Big bucks and that too early in life, compared to Doctors.

MD >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> JD >>> MBA

MD has huge respect and barriers to entry....you will have a great life once you get it.

JD still means you have to get clients and do a lot of work the rest of your life.....it's also not very fulfilling.

MBA is the cheapest degree on the market right now. There's nothing easier than getting an MBA.

I can agree that just getting any old MBA is not worth much. I certainly don't see much value in getting a no-name MBA unless my employer was fully sponsoring me.

That's why there has been such a strong flight to quality to the top, 'name-brand' MBA programs, coupled with strong interest in the highly lucrative post-MBA careers like financial services. I would argue that that sort of career path is clearly better, financially speaking, than getting an MD. Top-flight investment bankers make more money in a year than even the best doctors will make in their whole lifetime. Even an average investment banker/financier will make significantly more money than the average doctor.

It depends on what your interests are.

It depends on how you define rewarding. If helping people is how you define rewarding, then MD first by a great distance, JD second. MBA is possible but depends what business you go into.

If creating wealth in society is your definition, then MBA first by a great distance because you can take one plus one and make three. MD and JD don't really create much wealth for society except patent lawyers often facilitate the creation of wealth.

If amassing personal wealth is your definition, then MBA first, MD second, and JD third but these can vary depending on your interests, the economy, and luck.
