Wow, I find this surprising because it was nothing like my son's experience. Did you do an overnighter? How many students did you talk with? What exactly did the students find "horrible" about Carleton? Did you meet with faculty? Attend classes? My son was so impressed by his visit that he applied ED and will be attending this next fall.

I say that crzyfreek's a troll, since he/she in previous 3 posts claims to be a ninth-generation Princeton legacy, wants to know if an admission essay on his/her drug use would be a good idea, and asks for chances with a 1730 SAT (don't know if this with or without writing part--looking at these samples, I'd say with ).

yes, I'd agree with the troll theory. He/she also stated that for EC activities he/she has "1500 volunteer hours at Habitat for Humanity helping to build houses for impoverished blind prostitutes in Eritrea."

Thanks, woa. I missed that one (speaking of blind . . .) I had no idea that the impoverished-blind-prostitute population was so large in Eritrea that one could spend 1500 hours building houses for them. Perhaps he/she did it single-handedly?
