making student connections cmu phone call prior to acceptance letter

hi all.

congrats on ur acceptance to cmu!

i am applying there RD and i was wondering if any of you received a call from a cmu student in fall 2007, asking if you had any questions about the univ, prior to receiving your acceptance letter?

if so, what school(s) were you applying to?

I know people who got a call and got in, and people who got a call and didn't get in. I didn't get a call but got in.

my daughter got the call and got in at the CFA as a violin performance major. She is waiting for the acceptance letter now from the university.

Hey guys,

Acceptance letters are being mailed out today, and phone calls will start April 1st. Calls will be made during these hours (eastern time):

1.) Mondays - Thursdays 5pm-9pm
2.) Sundays 2pm-6pm

I'm a current student, and they've sent out an email looking for callers. Maybe I'll talk to some of you. Good luck!
