Switching Departments under the Institute of Technology

I applied for Carnegie Institute of Technology and put Electrical and Computer Engineering as the department. But now I might want to do Biomedical Engineering instead. Anyone know how I can switch? Good job to everyone who also got in, I hope to see you all next fall!

It doesn't matter what you applied under - as a freshman you're uncommitted, and at the end of the year you can declare whatever you like (as long as you're not restricted). They just ask you what you're interested in so they have an idea.

However, as someone said, BME is a double major only.
