hey, just a few things before i get to your chances..

1st: You posted this in the class of 2012 forum. I.E. this was the forum for the students who have since been accepted/rejected and will be college freshmen this fall. If you wan't more people to see your post, putting it in the What are My Chances? forum or under the general CMU forum are probably your best bet,

2nd: To help people chance you, you should try to be as thorough as possible. Perhaps you did not know, but when applying to CMU you have to apply to specific schools for your desired major. Depending on the school you apply to, your chances could vary greatly.

So with those aside, here are my gut instinct on your chances...

You have a decent shot provided that you are not applying to SCS/CIT/Tepper. Those three would be very tough for an international with good, but not great SAT's/GPA. Nailing your SATII's and writing some good essays would definitely help though. Good luck applying.

I took the SAT's 3 times. I took it twice in junior, cuz I basically took the first time early in junior year for the feel of it. -_-() Increase your SAT scores to somewhere around 2200. Since you're pretty good at science and math, I guess you should do HSS or CIT or CS. Whatever you want, I guess. It's hard to get into a lot of the colleges, but if you choose the one you can show academically/EC's wise that you're strong in you have a good chance.
