Anxiety--->Confusion. HELP!

Hey,

Can anyone help me out?
I was checking the "Where I am in the process" page at the CMU website and it said:

17-dec-2008 Folder Pulled committee read
16-dec-2008 Overnite Decision Ltr Request

Can anyone tell me what this means?
Does this mean they've taken a decision?

Please help!

What it means is that your application went to committee, that is, it passed the first step. Now the Admissions Committee will decide whether or not to Accept, Deny, Waitlist, or Defer you. Now the actual decision will come to you by MAIL. They'll only update the whole *Where Am I in the Process* page 3 full days after they send out the letter, by which you should already have it. Good luck, and try not to stress out too much.

Do you know what that means???? did i not pass the initial step???

In other words, if my page doesn't have the "overnite decision ltr request"/ "folder pulled", does that mean that i didn't pass the first step of admissions?

@ goodluck88: I don't really know what that means, but mine has "overnight personal..." listed, not the other two.. (Can someone tell goddluck88 and I what that means?)

Actually just kidding, apparently my "overnight" documents are just school transcripts/ midyear reports. i'm pretty sure.
