Decision

How long after your audition does it take for Carnegie Mellon to tell you whether you've been accepted or not? Are all decisions sent out on one day regardless of audition date?

Last year, their office said that decisions would be mailed out on March 21 and be available online on March 24. However, this did not happen for all applicants. I recall lots of delays. Some found out earlier than others. The online thing was not consistant for all. I forget the details now but I'd have to look in the CC archives for specifics but there were problems. My daughter's letter that I still have, in which she was waitlisted, is dated March 29. You could call and ask this year and I do think it will be late March at least. But it was close to April 1 by the time she found out last year. But there is no relation to your audition day, no rolling thing here. Basically everyone finds out in late March. The issue last year with the online notification being consistant for all and also with what they would say on the phone was a bit of a problem, but the overall answer to your question is that all decisions go out at about the same time in late March.
