Hi!! I am a senior this year, and I live in Georgia. I want to take advantage of the fact that CMU has auditions in Atlanta, but recently I heard that normally they do not have a large representation there and that you don't really receive equal judgement. I know that BoCo sends its MT Head and others to the Atlanta auditions. Does anyone know what CMU does? And also do you think that I have a better chance if I audition there, or just spend the money and fly to Pittsburg? Thank you so much!

kaitheath, I have no special knowledge about this at all, but ask yourself this: why would a major Univ. program like CMU's bother to send reps to a distant city to audition kids if those reps did not take their mission (to find qualified kids for their program) seriously? Why go to all that trouble and expense?
