| Yea I read that on the website, I'm not sure if I'll leave for the weekend, I'm still contemplating.
But good news did come! I got my invoice and acceptance letter finally, so now I can send in the deposit to get the elusive booklet that I need. |

| Hey! I was just wondering if anybody knows when MT "majors" going to the camp this summer find out who their roomates are. I still haven't gotten my packet, so i dunno if there's info in that. I just really would like to know who my roomate is before i go! |

| If it's anything like last year, you don't find out your roommate until the minute you open up your dorm room door. |

| Yes, it said in the packet that you don't find out until you get there. |

| Can anyone who went last summer tell me if you HAVE to wear black leotards and pink tights, or if you can change the color up a little? |

| ...sticking to the topic of dance/movement attire.
I'm in the acting divison of the drama program. and I'm asking if a simple pair of light weight work out pants, white t-shirt and mens dance shoes are a good choice for the movement class? I don't have leotards and what not. |

| i think as the summer wore on, people got more and more liberal when it came to what they wore in ballet, but you have to wear tights of some form. They just don't really care if it's black or pink...Same with the leotards. People definitely wore different colors.
but it should definitely be that kind of attire, but colors shouldn't matter
or at least my teachers didn't care |

| Final Payment due June 6 ! The final payment is due June 6. (yesterday). Today is June 7. My mother just informed me that she lost track of time and hasn't sent in the payment yet! Aaaaaaaaaaaaaahh! Now were in serious frantic mode emailing CMU and prepping the payment for overnight FedEx.
Has everyone sent in their payments? How much leeway does CMU give in terms of situations like this?! |

| I wouldn't worry about this. Call the school and let them know it is coming. |

| MrActor,
Don't fret...it is not a big problem. CMU acutally sent out bills in May with a due date of 06/16! Then I received my new bill two days ago saying 06/06. I called and they said the original bill was an error on their part but to please send in when we can. They have to honor the 6/16 date they originally sent out. I just mailed the remainder of my payment on the 6th regular mail. |

| Payment Thanks for bailing out this Mom (MrActor is my S)!!!
I had that 6/16 date in my head for some reason, but misplaced the invoice at home. We found the original letters that referred to the 6/6 date. So, payment DID go out today via overnight mail bright and early this morning.
We'll consider this a preview of next fall, and I'll need to get that organizational spreadsheet going . . . |

| Hey all.
I have a question. I have plans for this summer, but I am considering applying to CMU next summer, and I was doing some research online. The website didn't say anything about an actual audition (in person or by VHS). Is there an audition involved? Or do you just send in a resume, a transcript and the recommendations? Thanks a lot! |

| No audition. But you do have to write a brief essay plus the transcript/recommendations. |

| When do applications for precollege go online? OK, I admit I am being OCD about this. But if anyone knows approx. when (what month, usually), CMU puts online and live its application for the precollege program in MT, I would appreciate it. Once the school year really gets underway, I am (like most of you parents! ) totally swamped, and the days whiz by in a blur! If I have some idea when this application is available, I can bookmark it on my calendar to remind myself to check. (The lengths we oldies go to to remember stuff. I would write it on the back of my hand with "milk" and "toilet paper," but I am afraid it would wash off too soon .... )
Thanks in advance, everyone. This list is an invaluable resource.

| Lisa, Relying on my memory (hmm, maybe questionable) but I believe the pre-college app was available by late fall. If you call the pre-college admissions office they are very helpful. |
