Maybe the folder pulled for review is a good sign..my son's does not say that and he did not get called last night and he is acting so I would presume that means he did not get in to CMU and maybe that is why no review of his file? All guessing, but makes sense.

I don't think they call everyone on the same day, I was looking at posts from last year and people got calls on different days within the same week...so you never really know...

But my D knows a boy (acting not MT) who got a call from Barbara last night and he is going back to Juilliard this weekend. He was also at Minnesota callbacks and also got into USC! My D was not at home last night when Barbara called, but I will post whatever I learn after she speaks to her.

What time of day do the people from colleges (CMU for example!) call for acceptances? Just curious because several of the schools I'm waiting for call people, and someone said a kid was called LATE last night. Is that normal?

My D got a call at 8 pm PST on a Sunday (from the East Coast = +3 hrs). Imagine our surprise...

dear martha... did barbara tell your source the break down of boys vs. girls of the 9 musical theatre acceptances. sounds like 6 boys and 3 girls based on what we are seeing on this thread.

The "pulled file" note on the website is interesting. Did they pull the files on just the acting applicants or the MTers too? And for those accepted does everyone have that pulled file notation?

MTgrlsmom was referring to phone calls in general and not one from CMU.

I auditioned for MT back in November and online it says that " My folder was pulled for committee read on Jan 18th". Is that what we are talking about? What does that mean

We don't have a folder pulled indication, but we do have an admission score report form, and an audition fee waived indication, even though it shows previously we had paid the fee and we have not received a check in the mail. Anyone else have anything like this? This is for MT. Did anyone ever hear the final numbers of auditioners? And breakdown of boys vs girls?

And please God, don't make me posting this bring bad luck!

I don't think we can figure this stuff out. My S has the "audition fee waived" note, although we paid it. No "app pulled" note. And, just today, he has an "application complete." (Finally some activity!) I am assuming this is the date of the "rejection letter."

Anyway, there is a note over on the Theater/Drama thread that someone received an ACCEPT call from CMU earlier THIS evening. So, the DRAMA continues. . .
