| Mango, we heard on the grapevine that this year, CMU only took two or three girls for MT, as special situations last year meant that certain slots were already filled. For instance, we heard that one girl who was admitted last year couldn't come because she was involved (sadly) in that Minnesota bridge collapse. Another girl enrolled but got sick and had to leave, but thankfully is healthy again and can enroll in the fall. I also know that one lovely and talented young lady was offered admission from precollege last year. |

| We know one of the girls who got in and she is having to choose between CMU and another program....So, you D might get off the waitlist!

| waitlist at CMU acting vs UCLA
My son got accepted into UCLA's theatre program and waitlisted at CMU. He's really confused and so are we. I think if he would have gotten in at the end of March he'd have picked CMU but we checked out UCLA, it seems great and moved forward with that decision. Then-We found out Friday he was on the priority waitlist. It is crazymaking.
What are the chances of getting in?
Thoughts about making this decision?

| Don't know how many accepted but I know 1 person who declined the offer. Someone should be off the waitlist soon. | |

| I know for sure that at least one boy and one girl will not be attending CMU, they have already committed to other schools...so I'm sure spaces will open for those on the waitlist. | |

| Word on the "cyber" street is that a girl in MT definitely turned down CMU in favor of CCM - do not know if this is same person Blueroses1 knows about. Hope this helps!!! | |

| I believe there was a male acting student who chose Juilliard over CMU, and I think I read that actingmom's D chose another school. So, some Wait List students will be very happy soon! | |
