Hi Ryah -
I am sure my son would be happy to answer any questions and share his experiences with you. He is up there through the first week of May but with all those end-of-semester tests/papers/juries, it might be easier for me to forward your emails or have him write when he's home in May. My home email is francf@austin.rr.com.

You are going to love CMU so much. The MT kids are so close, supportive, funny, inspiring, and everything you could want in classmates. The teachers are fabulous too. It's a very challenging curriculum and program, but so worth it. (Speaking of which, echosensei, there is no room in the CMU MT program for another major. It would be adding a 3rd major and there aren't enough hours in a day!)

So Ryah, please feel free to email me or when you're up there this weekend, look for a curly-haired blond, blue-eyed, short guy with a big smile on his face - that will be my son. I hope you two get to meet but most of all I hope it's a wonderful trip that leaves you all the more excited about your upcoming school year. Congrats again! You deserve it! TX Mom

Oh it is!? I better look into that- I had NO idea! I don't even know what that is... but it sounds exciting!! Have any info on what spring carnival is??

Tx Mom- I WILL keep an eye out for your son- I'm assuming I will meet alot of the MT kids because I will be sitting in on a ton of classes on Monday... if so I will definitely tell him that I've been talking to his mommy! )

Ryah --

I'm going to CMU on Monday for a visit! Question - how are you getting to sit in on classes? Is that just included when you registered for a visit as a drama student or did you have to do something special??

Cmu

Hey Bradley-
I DID sign up online for that campus tour- but I also emailed Gary Kline (who I auditioned for and whos in charge of MT) and he gave me a schedule of classes that I could sit in on for that day. I'm sure if you get in contact with whoever interviewed/auditioned you, they would set up a schedule of classes for YOU to sit in on.
We'll be there the same day! Im sure I'll see you- so IM me and we can talk more about it!

Ryah

Oh, and thanks WCT for the carnival info! Looks FUN!
