a lot of hot girls? lol there are not even a lot of girls period...if you are looking for a lot of hot girls you might want to look into schools less focused on engineering and fields like cs and computational whatever unless it is a part of a huge uni like michigan or something

plenty of schools around CMU though...i guess you can put in the effort and meet people from around town

You know, not to sound shallow, but alot of the girls on the 2011 facebook are pretty good looking. Maybe they get uglier over time? I doubt it tho.

I don't know how men judge these things, but we met an awful lot of cute and perky sophomore young women -mostly future engineers - this weekend. And actually the woman who gave the SCS tour was quite good looking too.

I hate when people say girls in CS and CIT aren't attractive. If you're looking for models or girls who spend hours on how they look, then you might have a harder time finding a girl at CMU (which is not to say that none exist -- I definitely know at least a few girls in CS who could pass as models, and probably are). But a lot of the girls here, in EVERY college, are naturally pretty. As well, I know a lot of girls with above amazing personalities, to add to how cute they are. And as a CS major, I cannot think of a single girl in the freshman class that would be "undateable". Same for all the upperclassmen CS girls, and the same goes for the guys.

AcceptedAlready, get to know more people on campus before you generalize again. Or at least let people know that when you say stay away, you mean if they're looking for a ditz who only cares about how she looks and nothing else.

Don't worry about the lack of hot girls... after a couple of semesters the ones you think are ugly now will seem decent (but probably won't be available by then).
