Carnegie Mellon-Priority Wait List
The calls are supposed to come in the evening of 6th May!

So, please, whoever gets in may inform the board immediately. Thanks.

Just got my call...

Told me they won't be taking anyone off of any waitlists this year.

Yeah, sucks.

I didn't get an email, though.

And actually, to clarify my last post... He did say that if any spots open up on the regular waitlist this summer, there's a chance of some people being pulled.

I have a theory: maybe they didn't have the time to read all of the priority applications and thus told the people whom they didn't read to wait for the regular one. Most of the schools haven't finished processing the wait-list yet, and CMU had said that it had received more priority than expected. Of course, all of this is just a guess...

More waiting
Got an email today at 1 pm. Quote: "...unable to remove your name from our priority waitlist for MCS.....you will be among the first group to receive admission should any place become available later this summer...." I even picked up my son early from school today to wait for the phone call (we live in the west coast). They should at least call us, like they said they would!

i just got a call from cmu like two minutes ago. the lady said they are overenrolled this year and will not be able to take anyone off the waitlist.
