What college are you applying to within CMU? What do you think your GPA would be without freshman grades (they don't use that to compute GPA)?

Well, you never know for sure but it definitely looks like a match to me. If CMU is a strong college choice for you, I HIGHLY recommend you apply for as many of the colleges as possible, consider each choice one more shot, they all consider you separately. Sounds easy to transfer to H&SS if you still desire. H&SS and IS are probably the easier ones to get into, followed by MCS and CIT, I think.
