pc vs. mac for engineering

Are there any engineering students at Case using macs and do they have any problems with it. I know you can run windows through boot camp but i was wondering if anyone could share their experiences with me.

Macs on campus are pretty standard, the computer labs even have some. I know a few engineers that use them, mostly CS and CE types though. OSX, Vista, 7, Linux, everything is good on campus. IT cant help if you have anything but a Dell, but asking the right people in your dorm can fix anything. Choose the computer that works for you, although know there will be some software (Solidworks, etc.) that will only run in x86 windows so even windows users run virtual machines.
