Visit impressed

A friend of mine and her son visited Case Western during a recent open house. They were pleasantly surprised and impressed with everything they saw. They said everyone one was extremely pleasant and helpful. S is interested in engineering.

I visited Case with my D during the first week of August and also had a very positive experience. My D will be a Nursing major and CWRU has a great program. Students and faculty were both very welcoming. My wife, D and I all lost our hearts to Case and will apply EA.

I hated my visit. The probably had something to do with my mom's complaining and it being about 30 degrees outside, snowing, extremely crappy parking. and being lost. That's Cleveland, for you. Trust me, though, it wasn't that cold when we got there.

I live, like, right around the corner there so I'd seen most of what they were showing because I grew up in the area but because of what was mentioned above and extreme nervousness, I tanked my interview. I did love all the historical and old houses, though.

That brings up a good point meShannon. I'm sending my daughter on visits to different area colleges with her young adult cousins so that I don't unduly influence her. When it gets to final decisions after discussing the pros and cons we'll do the last visits where they sit the parents down in separate rooms from the students. Fortunately she has cousins scattered throughout the country so she can get a variety of visits.
