Case - Personal Statement Essay?

I know that CWRU requires the Common Application and that has an essay, but I've also been told that they require a Personal Statement essay. Does anyone know whether this is actually required or just recommended? Also how do you submit a Personal Statement as part of the Common Application? Does this need to be sent separately?

My daughter is NOT applying to the PPSP Program, so those essays are not needed.

No additional essays are required if not applying to pre-professional scholars program.

Take a look at the supplement to the common application (click on Supplement next to Case Western)

Thanks Dad'o'2. Oh well....it's written and she is sending it under other the "optional" part of the app. I can't see how it will hurt her chances. It they don't want it they can ignore it.
