What are my chances?

Currently, I'm attending a CC in Upstate NY and I'm applying as a transfer student to CUA for the Fall 2011 semester

After my 3rd semester, I should have a 3.3ish (I currently have a 3.56, but my fall semester wasnt the best)

EC's-
President of the Student Corporation
Co-Chair of the Diversity Committee
Student Corporation Liaison for Middle States
Intern for NYS Assemblyman Brian Kolb (summer)
Senate Vice Chair
Housing and Residential Life Senator
Assistant to the Regional Director of ACUI Region 2

Also-
In the Honors program at my CC
Phi Theta Kappa
National Honor Society for Leadership and Success
Full-Tuition Scholarship for this year
Recomendation from the CC College President

I'm also applying to Gtown, which I'm sure that's a reach. But I'm considering retaking my SAT because my scores are embarassing.

What are my Chances for CUA?

A 3.3 is a great college GPA. I think CUA is a sure thing. Are you a NY state resident? You might want to try Cornell U's- Hum EC or CALS schools. In State school tuition and they are very agreeable to NY state reisdent transfer students. (Pretty great way to get an IVY league degree )

Hey thanks! CUA is at the top of my list as far as colleges go. I'm actually from Syracuse, but I go to Finger Lakes Community College (south of Rochester) and hope to transfer. Cornell is a good option, however, I'm really looking to go out of state for my undergrad (costly I know, but worth the experience and money). Ithaca, isn't my type of town either.

You sound like a very solid candidate with great ECs. You will get in.
