Availability of dorms

Are freshmen guaranteed housing? Are you able to live on campus all four years?

Freshmen are required to live on campus, so it's certainly available

I was at the Open House yesterday, so this is fresh information. Housing is guaranteed for freshmen and sophomores. Lately, there has been enough space so that everyone who wants to live on campus can do so. This is because of the opening of a new, large complex called Opus (no relation to Opus Dei- it was named after the construction company). The tour only took us into one freshmen males dorm, however. The exterior of the building was fine, but my son, his friend, and I were all unhappy with the interior. The corridor was awful, and the room was no better. We did not see a lounge or study room, but were told that one existed. The housing does improve as you move up in years, and I would have liked to see more. It did seem to be very safe though. Laundry is free in all dorms. All rooms have both wired and wireless internet access, plus a cable hookup.

Thank you so much for the dorm info. Housing all four years, especially in an urban college, is a must for us. Yes, those male dorms are pretty gross, no matter where you look. Nice to have free laundry. Glad to hear it seemed safe. Thanks again for the reports.
