Centre College Forbes Ranking

Centre College is ranked #13 in Forbes in all LACs. Would love to hear from some Centre students or parents: experiences, academics, social, size, location....etc. D and H visited last month and were impressed. Love the small size and the one on one. Feedback? Advice?

My daughter graduated in from Centre in May 08. She is currently a staff member at the school. She loved the experience there from both an academic and social standpoint. The town is quaint. Not much there for a single adult but LOTS to do for the students. All her professors were very involved and she got to know them and the college staff well.

how about the social scene? I know frat and sor are popular but if you don't want to be involved in, will it be a big matter?

When we visited, it wasn't our impression that it is a big deal....I don't think the majority of kids are greek. I think the greek scene is big fun on the weekends, or so I hear from kids we know who go there!
