I talked to the admission office a couple days ago and they said that decision "mailed" on webadvisor means that the decision has been printed out and soon will be mailed once it is signed and sealed. All decisions were officially announced to have been said last Wednesday, January 11th. So it might be a couple more days before you get the decision, though of course it depends how far away you live as well. Good luck to your son! Hope it did/or will turn out well!
I've been waiting looking outside my door for the mail truck for 4 hours straight. And it's still not here! I'm freaking out! I can't wait! I'm so nervous. Fingers Crossed!

Other Factors, hook?: No hook, except I was accepted into the conservatory before I was admitted (possible hook due to staff?) General Comments, scholarship chances, status info, going to Chapman...?: No merit-aid offered (didn't expect it because of my low GPA - I wish I worked harder), but their financial aid is very generous, so I'm hoping that part of that is made up for.
Chapman is my FIRST choice; I've been dreaming about going to Chapman since the end of my sophomore year. However, if I can't afford it financially, I'll be going to Fullerton (already accepted). I might try to transfer in (with more scholarhship, and revenue coming in from online business - that's another story).
Edit: Congratulations SJR!! Hope everything goes well for you!!
