I just wanted to post the link to the official Chapman blog:

Chappenings

We were looking at the numbers this morning and our reports indicate that we're going to be up on applications a pretty sizable amount this year. It's too soon to say exactly how much we will increase, but it should be another solid year of growth.

All things considered, we're doing pretty well with our goals in reading and decision making. We do, however, have more to process than we thought so we're all going to be putting in extra long hours to make sure we get as many decisions out by January 15th as possible. Having said that, it will probably be a short while before we are completely done with early action decisions so if you don't hear from in the next few weeks, please remain patient - we will get to you.

Congrats! I think I am in too! Did you look at webadvisor and see Admissions Approved? or have you actually received a letter in the mail?

Congratulations, you guys! I can't find a user name and password around here for my S, and I'm guessing they won't give it to me on the phone (I'm only the one paying the bill, after all). So I wish he'd hurry and get home so he could call and get the user name and password! He applied for film production, so it's doubtful he'll be on there, but I know he'll want to check.

Congrats both of you! And good luck to your film production son! If any of you have any questions about the college, I'd be happy to try to answer them. I did a year at Chapman, taking a leave of absence now but I do remember the school pretty well.

Aaargh! Got the username and password...the status update says the application is incomplete. He mailed everything in mid-November. So now we have to try and track that down.

I didn't get anything in the mail today...

But I checked my admission status and all it says is 'File Complete, Decision Pending'.

WebAdvisor, Admissions Approved. Congrats to you too!

Hopeful2012er, did you get your WebAdvisor login in the mail? I've never seen that link but the way I've been checking is through WebAdvisor.

Anoel, what did you think of the grading system in general? Is there noticeable grade deflation or inflation? What were your overall impressions of Chapman?

Thanks everyone for the well wishes!

You can check WebAdvisor by going to Chapman's home page, under "Student Resources" you will find "WebAdvisor."
BTW, my S got into the Digital Arts major! He is very excited to be involved in the post-production side of the film industry.

Congrats, simplyxeva!

If we all end up matriculating, we should totally organize a trip to Disneyland for any incoming freshmen. I want to meet my future classmates!
