Is Henley Hall the best place for freshman to room?

They have FYE (Freshman Year Experience) floors in almost all the dorms, so you'd be with other freshmen if you applied for that.

Residence hall selection for continuing students just ended, and no continuing students were allowed to get rooms in Glass Hall. It seemed that Chapman had reserved Glass Hall entirely for new students (to the great disappointment of many current students). That's not to say that Freshman can't choose housing in the other dorms. Each dorm had spots reserved for freshman; some more than others.

I stayed in Henley this past year as a freshman, and I enjoyed it a lot. I wasn't on the FYE floor, so I can't comment on that. The basement in Henley has a lot of nice amenities, which are of course available to everyone, but the proximity is nice. Also, the study rooms on each floor are great places to hang out/study.

Freshman can live in any of the residence halls. Henley seems to be a favorite, but Glass is the newest and is also really nice. The FYE floors tend to be really social in all the halls.
