Is anyone experiencing online housing app problems this weekend? There's a notice that the current student housing selection has a computer glitch, but there's no discussion of new students.

Do/did you receive a confirmation of the completed form in your email inbox? I would be interested in hearing from anyone who has successfully completed the process.

Last year, my son didn't get to start applying for housing until later - after the current students got their housing.

You send in your deposit, but you have to wait a bit to begin the housing process for new students.

The particular problem my son and I were experiencing seemed to be a systems error; we couldn't confirm that his app was processed. It got fixed because last night he was able to log on and confirm.

I guess now the continuing students can proceed with the process, too.

LGM - what program is your son pursuing? Is he happy, does it seem money well spent?

My son is an English lit major. He has taken a few Film/TV classes as GE classes and loved them. He has several friends with the Film production major, and has been in numerous short movies this year that were projects for them.

Chapman has been the perfect fit school for my kid. He loves the campus, the classes, the neighborhood and the profs.

The InsideTrack coaching that they provide the freshmen for free was something that he kind of hated at first...now he admits how helpful it is, and often asks his coach advice on minors, how to navigate working and academics and all kinds of other things that he doesn't necessarily want to ask me!

We don't live that far away - just 40 minutes. I thought he would come home more often on weekends and breaks. He feels "at home" there and has grown much in just this one year!

I cannot recommend this school highly enough.
